I'm sure that if an insane, imperial military democratic dictatorship found out we had a lot of fuel, they'd treat us fairly and not just take it from us.

After all, on our planet, industrialized nations are so fair and civilized with oil-producing countries.

Maybe it's not our water after all? Maybe it's theirs and is just being stored in our oceans? If they paid a judge enough I think the courts would rule in their favor.
