I recommend that as any aliens that are capable of visiting us will have really awesome weapons, we should pre-surrender to them so they don't just blast us for fun (ref: see popularity of duck hunting, deer hunting, etc.)

Let's turn the moon into a billboard that reads "WE GIVE UP, DON'T SHOOT!"
